Helping Hands of Clemson, Inc. is a Group Home for abused and neglected children.

Our mission is three-fold:

1.Safety: To provide a safe and nurturing environment for abused and neglected children.                

2.Housing: To provide electricity, a bed, running water for a bath and housing for a maximum of 40 children. (ages birth through 13 years of age)

3.Survival: To provide the essential necessities; food, clothing, counseling, medical care, and dental care for the survival of abused and neglected children.

Helping Hands Of Clemson, Inc. opened it’s doors in 1984 and was licensed to care for 16 children. Today the House is licensed  to care for 40 children. On average, we care for 30 to 35 children at a time and, to date, we have cared for an estimated 8,000+ children since opening our doors.

Helping Hands of Clemson, Inc., serves the entire state of South Carolina. However, the majority of our children come from Anderson, Greenville, Oconee and Pickens counties.
